Support Travis County Search & Rescue with your Donation

Travis County Search and Rescue (TCSAR) is a privately funded, all volunteer, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization providing search and rescue services to support first responder agencies.

Given what we do a lot of wear and tear is put on our equipment and our dogs.  Our radios break, ropes wear out, and most unfortunately our dogs sometimes get hurt in the line of duty requiring expensive veterinarian care to get better.

You can help TCSAR remain mission ready by participating in one of the following support programs.

 K-9 Sponsorship:

Our dogs work hard and we train frequently to keep them in shape and mission ready.  They often work in the dark, on rubble piles, dark buildings, the wilderness, even on boats; all in a wide range of weather conditions from the extreme Texas heat to the cold and rain.  Unfortunately, they can and do get hurt.

Your DONATION in this program strictly goes to K-9 support and medical care.  You can securely donate via credit card through our Paypal account.  Click on our Paypal account service logo to the right.

In the "Description" field simply indicate K-9 Sponsorship.  Your support is really appreciated.  Check out pics and bios of our dogs by clicking this link TCSAR K-9.

Operational Support:

We are members of our your community dedicated to responding to requests from first responder agencies to help locate a loved one.  To be a good, consistent and reliable Search and Rescue organization you need to have the proper gear, training and certifications.

Everything we do comes out of our own pocket unless we have support from private funders.  Your private donations can help defray the cost of equipment purchases, travel expenses, and certification costs.

Equipment Donation:

Equipment donations can be of great value to TCSAR.  However, TCSAR retains high standards when considering and accepting equipment donations.  Remember this is equipment that people's lives depend on.  While monetary donations are preferred as they require less logistics and time to integrate into our operational structure, TCSAR does consider equipment donations in the following categories:

  • FRS Radio Equipment
  • Construction Site Lighting
  • Climbing Equipment after Inspection
  • New / Non-Expired Medical Supplies
  • Late Model & Rugged Laptop Computers
  • Computer Projectors
If you have equipment of this nature in unused or excellent condition that you can donate to our mission, please email info@tcsar.org with a description and photos if possible.
